Grunge by Michael Lavine and Thurston Moore

Photographer Michael Lavine traversed the Pacific Northwest to uncover the “Grunge” movement that dominated the first half of the 90s. In his second published book, “Grunge,” Lavine teams up with Sonic Youth front man, Thurston Moore, to detail their involvement in this phenomena/lifestyle that surged into mainstream cultures, but then fizzled out as the backlash of its popularity created a resentment by many of the participating artists.
